Feeding the mentally deranged and physically disabled in douala, cameroon
Douala is the largest city in Cameroon and home to nearly 20 per cent of the country’s population of about 26 million. It is equally the economic capital of the nation. A good segment of this population constitutes the mentally unsound and physically disabled. Two common problems faced by these marginalized categories of persons are the feeling of being ignored and excluded. As this year was chosen as a year for meaningful life transformation for the underprivileged, our novel five-phased project – The Feeding of street children, street adults, the mentally unstable, physically disabled, prisoners, orphans and the aged, sets out to eliminate these common problems faced by the disabled, by inclusively empowering them with equal access to opportunities and life skills that will make them become more functional and integrated into the society.

Zion a Happy Home Foundation serves as a strong source of food to citizens of the war torn Islamic emirate of Afghanistan
The education of children and the younger population, in general, hangs in the balance. What becomes of them, should the situation be not addressed? Worse is the fact that the Taliban lacks the capacity to manage these monumental challenges, but there is no clear alternative to their rule. These are the reasons why Zion A Happy Home Foundation chose Afghanistan as one of our countries of focus, for the implementation of our Year of Meaningful Life Transformation agenda for street children, adults, orphans the physically disabled, mentally deranged, prisoners, the aged and the Underprivileged.

Fighting hunger amongst children and the underprivileged in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
world. Guided by this worrisome information, ZION A HAPPY HOME FOUNDATION is determined to assist this nation in combating hunger and its related problems, especially amongst children and the underprivileged. How? By providing monthly food supplies and equally initiating free livelihood skills training schemes to promote self-employment and financially empower the less privileged.
Zion a happy home foundation tackles hunger by offering food to physically disabled persons in Ngueli, home town of many refugees in the Republic of Tchad
The Tchad Republic has a population of over 16 million people, half of whom live below the poverty line, according to the World Bank. The nation which is the world’s third least-developed country is also weighed down by drought and floods, conflict with the militant group Boko Haram, inter-tribal wars and the influx of over 400,000 refugees fleeing the Sudan, Nigeria, Cameroon and the Central African Republic. Given the correlation between poverty and physical disability, people with physical disabilities are among the most vulnerable people in Chad. This is because there exists a negative belief about physical disabilities in the country and it has led to the physically disabled being called “snake people” since they face difficulties in moving and so crawl on the ground. This derogatory impression has paved the way for exclusion, marginalization, deprivation of human rights and untold suffering in the lives of these people. Most of them die of hunger and starvation.
With actions underway towards attaining the sustainable development goals number 2, 10 and 3 that advocate for zero hunger, reduced inequalities, good health and well-being, ZION A HAPPY HOME FOUNDATION is particularly committed to feeding the hungry, physically disabled and ensuring they are food sufficient in Ngueli in particular and the TCHAD REPUBLIC in general. Ngueli is a neighbourhood in N’Djamena situated west of Digangali, and also west of Complexe Khassam. It shares borders with Kousseri and is home to many refugees from Cameroon.

Feeding of street children in Maroua and Douala
alone since no adult takes responsibility for them. Often they are very young and completely ignored by their families. These children don’t like to be called “street children”, but they have no option but bear the worry of some name tag as they struggle to survive. These great destinies are always lacking education, love, proper care and medical attention. Zion A Happy Home Foundation believes that if we can absorb off the streets these children and provide them with what they lack, then our society is guaranteed a responsible young generation to lead tomorrow. We urge you to join us to take collective meaningful action to meet the needs of these under-resourced children.
